Hydro initiates first phase of project to remove local carbon emissions in Sweden

The Greener Sweden project, initiated by Hydro in 2022 to remove local carbon emissions, is moving from idea to action! Installation of solar panels and battery storage systems will provide renewable energy to Hydro's extrusion plants in Sweden.

Spår industrieventyr innen havvind

Havvindindustrien opplever nå sin første krise. Kostnadene skyter i været, kontrakter reforhandles og prosjekter stoppes. Det stilles spørsmål om hvorvidt havvind er en bærekraftig industri. Likevel mener konsulenthuset Boston Consulting Group (BCG) at havvind kan bli et industrieventyr for Norge – om Norge griper muligheten og øker ambisjonene og tempoet.

Wintershall Dea awarded first CCS Licence in the UK

Wintershall Dea is intensifying its carbon capture and storage (CCS) activities in the Southern North Sea. The company has been awarded a new licence by the North Sea Transition Authority (NSTA) to store CO2 under the seabed.
